Just randomly surfing the web before getting to business on a research paper...was thinking about the Japanese novel series/manga Vampire Hunter D.
And I was curious about an Americanized comic that was in the works.
Found this out today, its actually old news, I'm slow yes: Palmiotti Says No Vampire Hunter D: American Wasteland.
Now, I'm pretty bummed. I mean I was skeptical at first about the whole ordeal and afraid they would not portray D properly and the atmosphere of the world he lives in. But I was also looking forward to the twist. And the art. Its one of my all time favorite animes, and pretty much the only one I have followed over the years...
Whelp, who knows what the future will hold. Until then, I have the manga of the novels and the newly translated novels to get my claws on...

It's a stupid little banner that I made in like 2 minutes and I posted it on my DA in July of 08.
It has been amusing me. Can't believe it got this many favs so far, anywho...

Lately, I have like no motivation to do anything...(until the last minute of course when I HAVE to). I'm bored and kind of sort of wish this semester would just end. But I shall not wish my life away like that...
...and like no way in hell do I want the holidays to come any sooner then they are.

Especially the cartoons. Just fooling around and found this kind of webshow site where a man named Doug, the "Nostalgia Critic", reviews old movies, shows, and programs. It brought back a lot of memories, made me realize how bad some shows really are when I was too young to comprehend, and got a few laughs along the way. I'm totally flipping out right now...I just got the Adobe Creative Suite, the student edition. The serial number they gave me, after I proved I was a student, is invalid. Blasted customer support sucks, fuckin' waited 30min with elevator music playing, no one picked up so I just hung up. WTH... EDIT: So it turns out I got a defected product. And a French serial number...WTH. Doing an exchange -__-

Other than that, as how things are going with me...2 out of 3 midterms done.
That graphic design project for the sex education campaign "Healthy Kids" is done. Thanks to a nice guy in my class, I was able to buy some nice quality paper off of him. XD Now I wonder when the "judging" is going to take place...
I gotta get started on my independent project for graphic design. And once again its almost time to sign up for spring courses and I'm in limbo about what my future will be like...

And I admit I have been slacking. Damn, the only thing that gets me rolling is deadlines, and being a last-minute-joe.
